A note from the teacher:

I am a Cultural Exchange Teacher Participant from the Philippines. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education in the Philippines. I have nine years of teaching experience in elementary education in my home country and three years of teaching experience here in the United States of America.

A typical day in my classroom starts with a warm morning meeting to prepare for a great day of learning. Throughout the day, we work on reading, writing, math, science, and social studies through hands-on activities. I make learning meaningful by connecting lessons to real-life situations and encouraging curiosity and creativity. I believe every child can succeed when they feel supported, respected, and valued. My goal is to create a classroom environment where students feel happy to learn, confident to try new things, and motivated to do their best every day.
