A Note From the teacher:
I am an educator with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and 20 years of teaching experience. I am excited for the opportunity to bring my passion for teaching, strong communication skills, and commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment to our school community.
For sixteen years, I served as an elementary teacher with the Department of Education in the Philippines, where I had the privilege of working with diverse groups of students and supporting their academic and personal growth. I also spent four years teaching at Bailey Charter Elementary School in Reno, Nevada—an experience that broadened my instructional strategies and strengthened my ability to meet the unique needs of students in an international setting. I hold a Master of Arts in Education, majoring in Educational Management, and I am currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Administration and Supervision, with 27 units completed. My academic background has deepened my understanding of effective teaching practices and equipped me with leadership skills that contribute to school programs and educational initiatives.
My teaching philosophy is centered on creating an inclusive, engaging, and student-centered classroom where every learner feels valued, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential. I am committed to fostering critical thinking, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning. Key highlights from my teaching career include: • Teaching students on a regularly scheduled basis • Planning and delivering effective instruction • Designing, preparing, and adapting instructional materials • Assessing and evaluating student performance under the K–12 curriculum
In addition to my experience and strong classroom management skills, I bring enthusiasm, flexibility, and a genuine passion for education, along with a commitment to collaborating with staff and administrators to support student success and make a positive impact on our school community.
