Dean of Instruction and Student Services
I am currently in my 20th year in education. I previously taught Preschool and Kindergarten in Henderson, NV and spent five years teaching second grade at Bailey Charter. I transitioned to an administrative role three years ago. First, serving as the Coordinator of Academic Services before becoming the Dean of Instruction and Student Services. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, a Master’s Degree in Special Education, and a Certificate in Developmental Delay. My administrative philosophy is that equity is not an initiative; it is a lens through which actions are taken. I believe in identifying and removing systemic barriers, providing the resources students and staff need to succeed, and maintaining high expectations for all. My day varies but my favorite part of each day is greeting students as they arrive.
