A Note From the Teacher:

For the past 10 years, I have had the incredible privilege of guiding young learners -- six years in the Philippines and four here in the United States. I earned my Bachelor of Elementary Education at De La Salle ASMC and a Master’s in Multicultural Education from Cebu Normal University, and next year I will be pursuing a Master of Education in Digital Technologies, because I love exploring new ways to bring creativity and technology into learning.

First grade has always held a special place in my heart. There is something magical about this age: children grow so much academically and socially in just one year, and their curiosity, imagination, and excitement make every day joyful and rewarding. I love reading stories with them, changing my voice to make every character and event come alive. We create art together, conduct science experiments, and explore new ideas -- moments when their bold questions spark my own curiosity and remind me to see the world with fresh eyes.

I strive to create a classroom where learning is fun, engaging, and inspiring, a place where children feel safe to explore, take risks, and discover their passions. Teaching is not just my career, it is a journey of learning alongside my students, watching them grow, and being reminded every day that curiosity, wonder, and joy are at the heart of learning.

When I am not in the classroom, you can find me watching movies of any genre, thrifting for hidden treasures, traveling to new places, or diving into self-help books.
