A Note From the Teacher: I am an educator with 11 years of teaching experience, including eight years in general education and now in my third year as a special education teacher. Born and raised in Reno, Nevada, I’ve always been passionate about serving the community that shaped me. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Nevada, Reno, and later continued my studies at UNR to complete my master’s degree in Special Education with an emphasis in Autism. My work is driven by a commitment to helping every student feel supported, valued, and capable of achieving meaningful growth.
About our Special Education Program at Bailey: Our special education program is designed to support students with disabilities so they can access the general education curriculum, build essential academic skills, and experience success alongside their peers. Through individualized instruction, targeted interventions, and accommodations, we work to meet each student’s unique learning needs as outlined in their Individualized Education Program (IEP). The goal of our program is to help every student grow, feel confident, and develop the tools they need to thrive in school and beyond.
