Classroom Celebrations at BCES 🎉

At BCES, we love to celebrate birthdays and special occasions while supporting student health and safety. Please review the guidelines below for what is allowed in classrooms:

🚫 Not Permitted

• Cupcakes, cookies, chips, candy, soda, and sports drinks

• Drinks with colored dyes (red, orange, blue, etc.)

BCES follows the USDA Smart Snacks in School standards (aligned with Washoe County School District policy). Special Exception Days may be designated for schoolwide celebrations.
