Here are some thoughtful ideas families can do for Teacher Appreciation Week (May 5-9) that will really make teachers feel special:

Monday (5/5): Handwritten Notes from students and/or parents sharing what they love about their teacher, expressing appreciation/thanks, and/or offering a compliment.

Tuesday (5/6): "Favorite Things" Day – Everyone brings in something the teacher loves (like quotes, colors, or flowers from their yard).

Wednesday (5/7): Classroom Memories– Students contribute a favorite classroom memory and draw a picture of this and/or write a note about it.

Thursday (5/8): Poem, Song, Artwork – Original creations from students (bonus points if they perform it).

Friday (5/9): Potluck Luncheon—Families donate a dish to a teacher luncheon extravaganza. PLEASE DELIVER TO THE SCHOOL BY 10:30 AM

Don’t forget your special education and EL teachers (Ms. Biddle & Ms. Ambriz) too! And, the teacher assistants who sub across our community (Miss Hannah, Miss Autumn & Mr. Ed)
